Effects of Transiting planets:-
The effect of the transits of slow moving planets like Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu/Ket and to some extent Mars is also very much vital for the severity and other damaging and fatal effects of this viral disease on an infected person. Saturn is the representative of time the ‘Kaal’, as also a killer planet its transiting effects has thus a serious impact on the magnitude of such of the adverse effects. Rahu and Ketu function almost like Saturn and their adverse effects are equally very much provocative. Jupiter is a planet which bestows life, but during its transit its benefic effects depend upon its position viz-a viz, Moon and the lagna. But by and large Jupiter always works as a savior to the extent possible. Mars a malefic by denomination has also mostly malefic influences though for a very limited period.
More so for the severity or otherwise of this disease, the impact of the transit of Saturn will also be very much vital.
Case No-1:- 22-04-1951, 17:30, Jammu:-
This birth chart belongs to a person who was an IAS officer and retired as financial commissioner and was reemployed as vigilance commissioner after his retirement. He belongs to a very good family and has lot of property. Basically he was a diabetic and was suffering from some renal problem for the last about two years. His body structure was somewhat abnormal, when he was heavily over weight. Lagan lord Mercury retrograde in the 8th house with the 8th lord Mars and exalted 12th lord Sun. He was thus prone to get infected by any viral disease easily. He got covid attack on 3/5/2021. His wife being a doctor by profession at a very senior level, he was hospitalized and put on oxygen immediately, when he had a massive attack of pneumonia. In his case there was no problem of arranging a bed in a multi specialty hospital along with sufficient availability of oxygen.
The dasha at that point of time was was Venus/Mars/Saturn/Moon. As per Moon chart, Venus is the lagan lord, in the 8th house. Mars is the 7th lord the “Marka” in the 7th house with the 12th lord Mercury and the 11th lord Sun when both Sun and Mercury are in the Nakhshatra of Ketu and additionally Sun is the dispositor of Ketu placed in the 11th house. Mars is not comfortable with Mercury. So Saturn is badly afflicted showing damages to his lungs and heart in particular, resulting in his incurable pneumonia. It is so as Saturn mostly gives incurable diseases. Saturn in this case has been equally responsible for his cardiac problems which remained there till his ultimate death. Moon is in lagan as the 10th lord involved in this dasha pattern showing the end of his Karmas as it has the aspect of the transiting Saturn from the 4th house, when transiting Saturn is aspecting the 10th house too creating ‘Dhaiya’ with the placement of Moon. Saturn in the The occurrence of the disease is getting justified with the houses involved. He died on 13/5/20121, when the dasha was Venus/Mars/Saturn/Rahu. At the time of death Moon was replaced by Rahu in the dasha pattern. The dispositor of Rahu as per Moon chart, which is Saturn, is in the 12th house with a malefic aspect of transiting Mars from the 9th house. Both Saturn and Rahu are qualified killers which made his death to occur.
While assessing the main birth chart, the lagna and the lagan lord is very weak. Lagan has retrograde Saturn in it, when the lagan lord Mercury is in the 8th house with the 8th lord Mars and the 12th lord Sun.
Jupiter though in its own house has a malefic aspect of the 6th lord Saturn, when Saturn is the dispositor of Rahu placed in the 6th house. Jupiter is also weak thus unable to protect him from the serious onslaught of this viral disease.

Case No-2 :- 31-07-1941, 03:17, Srinagar, Kmr
This case pertains to a person who was a senior scientist in Agriculture field and retired as a head of the department from agriculture university Jammu and Kashmir. He had heart problem when a pace maker was installed in his heart about 5 years back, so easily prone to catch the viral disease.
He contacted covid infection on 26/4/2021 and got high fever and chocking of his chest and throat which ultimately led to pneumonia and he finally died on 10/5.2021.
The dasha on 26/4/2021 was Venus/Moon/Moon/Ketu . Venus is the 5th lord apart from being the 12th lord indicating his heart as also hospitalization. Venus is in the Nakshtara of Ketu in the 3rd house, indicating prone to catching of viral disease and creating some problem to the significations of the 3rd house which means involvement of his throat and afflictions to his strength to combat the viral disease. It has to be noted here that all the covid related adverse indications in such a patient started from the throat first. Venus is in a Pap-Kartari position, when its dispositor Sun which is again the significator of heart in the 2nd house, aspected by the 8th lord Saturn from the 12th house. Sun is equally aspected by the transiting Saturn from the 8th house. It shows double affliction to Sun the dispositor of Venus. So Venus is badly afflicted and being in the Nakhstara of Ketu and in the 3rd house involved him in a serious attack of covid disease. The Nakhshtra of Venus, Ketu is in the 10th house deeply afflicted by Mars which is the 6th lord apart from being the 11th lord thus carrying a bad lord ship. It is aspecting the 4th house, along with Mars, the 6th lord, where Rahu is placed thus involving his Thorax (chest), and lungs, leading to his getting severe attack of pneumonia. This is where the 6th lord has played its role. Moon is the 2nd lord assuming the status of a ‘Marka’. Moon is in the 5th house when its dispositor Venus is in the 3rd house and is highly afflicted, spoiling the health related significations of the 3rd house badly. 5th house indicating heart and Moon placed in it are highly afflicted due to the aspect of Mars from the 10th house which is the 6th lord and the transiting Saturn from the 8th house. Such a Moon getting associated with the dasha pattern at the time of one’s covid disease will be quite adverse and will complicate the disease with indications like high fever with chill in the body, sever infection to lungs leading to pneumonia, acute breathlessness, tuberculosis, even septicemia ( blood poisoning), anemia, etc, depending upon the quantum of malefic influence and the malefic afflictions of such Moon. This led to his acute attack of covid involving him in acute chest disease with high degree pneumonia, when he could not get a bed in a hospital as the 12th lord Venus is badly afflicted. The pran dasha of Ketu added more fuel to the adversity of this viral disease, being highly afflicted with Mars the 6th lord and aspcting his 4th house indicating acute involvement of his chest. His death occurred on 10th May 2021, when the dasha was Venus/Moon/Mars/Mars. All the three planets are involved to the 5th house, as Venus is the 5th lord, Moon heavily afflicted is in the 5th house, when Mars the 6th lord, a malefic planet for this lagan, placed with Ketu the killer and aspected by transiting Saturn from the 8th house, is aspecting the 5th house. Such a compound malefic affliction to the 5th house and its lord Venus and the Moon placed in it adversely affected his heart and he died of cardiac arrest. The role of the 6th, 8th and the 12th houses and its lords are coming into picture prominently.

Sun indicating heart is also severely under heavy affliction due to the aspect of the 8th lord Saturn from the 12th house, which gets compounded by the malefic aspect of transiting Saturn from the 8th house.

Case No-3:- 18-03-1958, 01:25, Jammu
This is the case of a person who was well qualified and dealing in high profile business of his own. He belongs to a very good family of elite educative potentialities. He became a victim of covid pandemic when he took it lightly initially for about 5 days and finally because of his delay in getting proper treatment, he became more serious a patient and his lungs got involved badly resulting his getting serious pneumonia with acute breathlessness. Ultimately he succumbed to it and finally died due to this disease. It is a case of sade sati.
He was infected with covid on 20/4/2021, when the dash was Mercury/Mars/Sun/Ketu. Apart from the dasha sequence it is case of ‘Sade-Sati’. Mercury the main dasha lord is the 3rd and the 6th lord of the ‘Kaal-Pursha’ kundali thus prone to give this problem of covid to him, if afflicted, which initially is related to the significations of the 3rd house, involving throat, thorax, sneezing fever, cough etc. Mercury is debilitated and is aspected by transiting Saturn involved in ‘Sade-sati’, from the 3rd house. Mercury is in the Nakhshtra of Saturn which is a malefic planet for this lagna. Mercury is the 11th lord viz, lord of the 6th to 6th house and being afflicted will behave as the 6th lord to give diseases as per the principle of ‘Bhavate-Bhavam’. It is with Sun the 10th lord which is in the Nakhshtra of Saturn, when it is equally afflicted with the aspect of the transiting Saturn from the 3rd house. The dasha lord which is linked to the significations of the 3rd house and the 6th house as per ‘Kaal-Pursha’ kundai, is equally linked to the Sun the lord of the ‘Karma’ bhava, which is also afflicted by the transiting Saturn showing depletion of his ‘Karmas’ of this birth. He took his initial symptoms of covid very casually and did not attend to it immediately before it complicated his health conditions and he all of a sudden developed pneumonia and acute breathlessness, when oxygen in Jammu was sparingly available. His casual approach to the initial symptoms of covid is getting justified as Mercury the ‘Karka’ of Budhi in his case is debilitated. Mars compounded the problem as sub dasha lord with Mercury as the main dasha lord Mercury, which is inimical to Mars. Apart from that it being the lagan lord is the 6th lord as well. Mars is placed in the 3rd house with Venus the 12th and the 2nd lord which is a malefic planet for this lagan, indicating hospitalization and simultaneously having a ‘Marka’ status as the 7th lord. Thus Mars is afflicted both as the lagan lord and the 6th lord. It can be rated as the combination of the 6th and the 12th lord in the 3rd house, apart from the combination of lagan lord and the 7th lord. In both the situations the position of Mars is further deteriorated with transiting Saturn which is transiting over the 3rd house afflicting both Mars and Venus. Ketu is in the 6th house the house of diseases indicating the onset of viral disease when its dispositor Mars is in the 3rd house complicating the covid disease complexities like high fever, throat and thorax problem along with pneumonia. The aroda of the 6th lord is falling in the 12th house showing deep hospitalization, where Rahu and Jupiter are placed. Enough efforts were made to save him as he was admitted to the super specialty hospital at Katra.
He ultimately succumbed to this attack of covid disease and died on 26/05/2021. The dasha was Mercury/ Rahu/Rahu/Rahu. Rahu in the 12th house has been finally responsible for his death due to heart failure as it is with retrograde 5th lord Jupiter representing heart. The transiting Saturn is aspecting the Rahu placed in the 12th house. Its dispositor Venus the 12th lord is with the lagan lord Mars when both are under the influence of transiting Saturn, as Saturn is transiting the 3rd house and transiting Mars from the 8th house. So the time keeper of one’s destiny the ‘Kaal’ performed its job while causing his death and exit from this life as Sun the 10th lord is also involved in the initial dasha pattern.
His lagan is weak being partially in a ‘Pap-Kartari’ position between Saturn and Rahu. Lagan lord though exalted is also afflicted being with Venus a malefic planet for this lagna.
Sun the protector is equally afflicted being with the debilitated Mercury which is a malefic planet for this lagan. So no hope to get any protection from Sun.
Jupiter the savior in all such cases as Jeeva-Karka, is in the 12th house and is retrograde being in Rahu/ Ketu axis, thus not able to come to his rescue.
Case No-4 :- 28-06-1952, 6:31:31, Srinagar, Kmr.
This is a case related to covid infection, when he got infected on 29/4/2021 and expired on 2/6/2021. He had no other problem of health and was serving on top position in HMT Bangalore when he had studied mechanical engineering.
The dasa at the time of his getting covid infection was Jupiter/ Sun/Sun/Mercury. Jupiter though a good planet for this lagna being a Kendra lord placed in the 11th house, is carrying ‘Kendradipati dosha and is ‘Bhadekesham’ as well. In its capacity as the main dasha lord it is has a malefic affliction too, as it is aspected by Mars which is the 6th lord apart from being the 11th lord as well, thus a malefic planet for this lagan.
