Er. P.L. Khushu is an astute and a learned astrologer having qualified Jyotish Acharya from the Institute of Astrology, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, New Delhi. He has learnt astrology under guidance of Sh. K.N.Rao, a veteran astrologer and teacher of astrology of international name and fame, who has laid the base and the foundation of teaching of astrology in Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi, as back as 1980’s. P. L. Khushu is a qualified civil engineer, having graduated in civil engineering in 1965 with distinction. He has retired as a senior most civil engineer from the state of Jammu & Kashmir, having manned bigger and responsible assignments of civil engineering with credit and dedication during his tenure of government service as a civil engineer in his home state of Jammu and Kashmir. He is a practicing chartered civil engineer having been declared as a Chartered Civil Engineer by the Institution of Engineers (India). He is a fellow member of the Indian Council of Arbitration.
Er. P.L. Khushu is linked to the subject of advanced astrology and continues to be a research scholar in the field of advanced astrology at the Institute of Astrology, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, New Delhi, for the last about 20 years under the guidance of Sh. K. N. Rao, the present day doyen of astrology and its studies in India and abroad.
He is a Kashmiri Pundit, belonging to a pious and traditional Brahmin family of Kashmir, believing in karma philosophy which is linked to settled astrological axioms as professed by great and spiritual saints of past. He brings forth the scientific approach towards astrology, adjusting the principles of predictions with the spirit of scientific temper and not a dogmatic approach. He has written many articles and research papers in the field of astrology.
